About the RX1HS L-Spacer Requirement
The DS-RX1HS uses 6-inch paper spindles. To print on 5-inch-wide 5×7 media, the printer needs the L-Spacer set installed on the paper spindles to correctly center and guide the narrower roll.
- New DS-RX1HS printers normally ship with two L-Spacers included
- Without the spacers, 5×7 media may not align or feed correctly
- The spacers are reusable and can be installed again for future 5×7 jobs
- Remove the spacers when switching back to 4×6 or 6×8 RX1HS media
