How fast does the DNP DS620A print?

In high-speed mode, the DS620A prints a 4×6 in 8.3 seconds (up to 400 prints per hour), a 5×7 in 14.1 seconds, and a 6×8 in 15.7 seconds. It is 14% faster in throughput than the previous DS620 model, making it one of the fastest professional dye-sublimation printers in its class.

Can the DS620A print 2×6 photo booth strips?

Yes. The DS620A supports 2×6 photo booth strips using standard 4×6 media. Each 4×6 sheet produces two 2×6 strips — one for the guest and one as a record. This is the standard format used by most open-air photo booth systems. Simply switch media from 5×7 to 4×6 rolls for photo booth strip output.

Does this bundle include wireless printing capability?

No. This bundle connects via USB 2.0. Wireless printing requires the DNP WCM Plus module, which is not included here. The WCM Plus can be added separately or is included in the DS620A Complete Bundle with WCM Plus. If wireless connectivity is important for your workflow, consider the Complete Bundle or add the WCM Plus to your order.

Can the DS620A print panoramic photos?

Yes. The DS620A supports 6×14 and 6×20 panoramic prints using standard 6×8 media when the printer is updated to firmware v1.52 and printing through DNP's Hot Folder Print (HFP) utility v2.2. Panoramic printing is a Windows-only feature. A 6×14 print uses the equivalent of two 6×8 sheets of media, and a 6×20 uses three.

What does the 3-Year Advanced Exchange Warranty cover?

The DNP 3-Year Advanced Exchange (AE) Warranty covers hardware failure of the DS620A printer for three years from purchase. If the printer fails, DNP ships a replacement unit to you before you return the defective one — so you are not left without a printer between events. This warranty has an estimated retail value of $399 and is included with this bundle at no extra cost.

What finish options does the DS620A support?

The DS620A supports glossy, matte, and luster finishes. All three finishes can be produced from the same media roll — no media swap required to switch between finish types. Finish is selected per print job through the print driver or photo booth software.
