What does the DNP IDW500 4×6 media set include?

Each box (IDW5004X6) includes one roll of 4×6 self-laminating dye-sublimation photo paper and one matching color ribbon, yielding exactly 350 prints. It is the complete replacement media kit for one full reload of the DNP IDW500 passport printer system.

Is this media compatible with the DNP IDW520?

No. The IDW5004X6 media is chipped and physically sized exclusively for the older DNP IDW500 passport system. The IDW520 is a different, newer printer generation and requires its own separate media kit. Using IDW500 media in an IDW520 will not work. If you own an IDW520, contact us and we will point you to the correct media.

Yes. The IDW500 system prints on a 4×6 sheet, which provides the ideal dimensions for cropping standard 2×2-inch US passport photos or a range of other international ID photo formats. The IDW500 software includes biometric sizing and automatic crop templates for US passports, visas, and dozens of international ID formats.
